Promoting Quality Teaching and Learning through community development, relevant research, appropriate practice and sound Biblical Exegesis.

Born in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga in 1988 to two loving parents and two caring older siblings. I completed my schooling in Piet Retief and was the first Indian/Black student in the local and previously staunch, white-only Primary school. Through the years I have travelled to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong and the USA teaching and serving with an organization called YWAM. In 2009, I founded the NPO 'The Meira Football Academy' which had as its core function improving the lives of children through football.

After completing my BEd, I moved to Cape Town, South Africa. It's here that I noticed the massive injustices that are still prevalent in the majority of our schools and neighborhoods. These educational injustices can be summarized as lack of resources, lack of good management and a lack of excellence. The reasons for these injustices are numerous, but all stem from a warped, unequal and unfair educational system that has plagued South Africa for decades.

I successfully completed my Honours in Educational Management in 2017 and my Bachelors of Theology degree in 2018 and have now set my mind to improving the level of teaching and learning and rectifying the above mentioned injustices, first in my own context, then beyond. I am also currently in the process of completing my Masters in the Education Policy, Leadership and Change stream at UCT.

I have experience creating content for and tutoring in the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE to Full A Level). For information on tutoring and curriculum content/resources please contact me.

As of October 2017, I have been in the employ of a school in Plumstead, Cape Town - John Graham Primary. Happily married since March 2014 with one handsome little son. I enjoy writing, reading, History, Apologetics, debating, Comparative religious studies, Football and of course teaching!
